Sometimes it feels like I am the only person in the world just aimlessly wandering out at night... I see quite a few people pass me by but... They all seem to have places to be, tasks to complete or are out hanging out with friends/lovers and laughing obnoxiously loudly, disturbing the peace of the night. No one seems to just stop and marvel at the beauty of the night sky, or the unusual quiet tranquility of a typically loud city. Not once did I seem to notice a kindred spirit wandering these empty streets at night... Just taking a leisurely stroll or having a thoughtful rest in some somewhat quiet and secluded corner... There might be someone else like me out there but I certainly didn't have the pleasure to run into them yet... and perhaps I never will. Not this night, at least.
