(no subject)

There is just something special about having long nightly walks during early autumn, when the cool weather’s just setting in and no one else but me is out and about. Walking around places that typically are full of people and seeing them completely empty, hearing the silence of your own footsteps… it’s like having some liminal experience. It helps me clear my head a little from all the cloudy thoughts; to distance myself from the woes of life; and, at the same time, to reconnect myself to my here and now.

Ah… I’ve wanted to write down some more thoughts, some more things I’ve come to realize, but… perhaps it’s something better left for another time. For now, I shall just enjoy the tranquility of this moment.
